Earthly Comforts began as a Garden Butler service, providing reliable, eco-minded garden maintenance delivered with consistency, respect and close attention to detail. As our clients’ needs have grown, so has our service.

Today, we provide trusted Estate Butler care — looking after gardens, properties, utilities and the many small responsibilities that help a home run smoothly. Whether tending a garden, carrying out property checks, coordinating practical maintenance, assisting with house clearances, or helping families prepare a property for sale, our approach remains the same.

We describe ourselves as Butlers, not because we’re formal, but because we take responsibility seriously. Caring for a garden, a property or an estate means understanding it over time, noticing the small details, and taking pride in doing things properly.

Who We Are

Earthly Comforts is an independent Estate Butler service based in Sandwich, providing long-term care and practical support for gardens, properties, and utilities throughout the town and surrounding villages.

Established in 2022 as a Garden Butler service, we now support a wide range of clients through our growing Estate Butler approach. From regular garden maintenance and seasonal care to property support, utility oversight and estate clearance projects, our focus remains the same: helping clients look after the places that matter to them.

Supported by a small, dedicated team, we believe in building long-term relationships based on trust, reliability and consistency. Many of our clients have been with us for years, and references from long-standing local clients are available on request.

We are practical, grounded Estate Butlers, committed to the long view. Our work is thoughtful and responsible, shaped by respect for people, properties, gardens, wildlife and the wider environment.

Rather than chasing quick results, we focus on consistent care that protects, improves and preserves. We show up, work carefully, solve problems proactively and leave things better than we found them.

We also support local green spaces and community initiatives because good stewardship extends beyond individual boundaries.

We work across Sandwich and the surrounding area, covering nearby towns and villages within roughly an eight-mile radius. This includes Deal, Worth, Ash, Eastry, Sandwich Bay, Woodnesborough, Sholden, Northbourne, Wingham, Elvington, Eythorne, Shepherdswell, Minster, along with smaller hamlets such as Richborough, Hacklinge, and Marley.

Our focus remains firmly local, providing dependable Estate Butler services to homes, gardens and properties throughout Sandwich and its neighbouring communities.
